About the product:
Due to the high moisture content and heat inside a diaper, the baby's bottom can become particularly irritated. The Penaten protection cream was specially developed for protection against this. The cream contains zinc oxide which forms a breathable protective film that quickly soothes and nourishes the skin. The light texture is ideal for daily use.

The outermost layer of skin is about 30% thinner in babies and the skin cells are less densely packed than in adults. As a result, moisture can be absorbed quickly, but also released. In addition, the baby skin contains less moisture-binding substances to store water. To protect the skin from dehydration, the sebaceous glands normally produce fat-like substances (lipids) that form a protective film of grease on the skin. However, the sebaceous glands are not very active in babies. Thus, the grease film is hardly present and the moisture evaporates faster.

Carefully selected care products are therefore essential. This is exactly where Penaten comes in and gently supports sensitive baby skin.
